Am very happy with my new cage. Have 5 cats and they can all fit fairly well and just love it. Reason for getting this particular one was it folds almost flat and will fit in my motorhome so when arriving at campgrounds can set it up in a few minutes and they can get fresh air and watch the birds, etc. When at home I take it outside (has wheels) also. The cats just LOVE IT!

I priced a cat play pen at my local pet store and they were asking more than twice what I paid for this one. I had some reservations thinking that this play pen whould not be as sturdy as the one I had looked at in the store but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it was made. It was a lot of room for my cat and it gives me peace of mind while I’m away that he’s not getting into trouble. There is plenty of room for his litter box , food and water and there are three different perches for him to lay on and a soft cover for one of the perches comes with the play pen as well that is very comfortable for him and if you want you can purchase a hamack and hang it in the top of the cage. If you have a cat that you can’t turn your back on this might be the perfect way to give you some peace of mind when you can’t have your eye on them every second.

This has turned out to be a great product for us! It’s well made, large enough to be comfortable for at least two medium sized cats to be in for at least an 8 hour span or so with a kitty litter box, food, and water. It’s perfect when you need to keep the kitties contained for a period of time but don’t want to put them in little cages. Easy to set up and folds down flat. Great buy!

This large rolling cage is excellent for the b/w, long haired, 8 wk old, feral kitten “Howie” that I have rescued. There is room for his sm. litter box, basket bed, food and water dishes, and also room to play. I placed the 3 platforms, one with fleece close to the bottom, altho he scales right up the sides. Hanging strands of yarn hold paper twists for him to bat at. The 4 doors have secure latches so the small grandsons can’t release him. This cage also keeps Howie safe from the pugs, westie, and senior cats, and yet he can still react with them. I am really happy over this product!

This cage is great! It was easy to put together, it is quite roomy and, surprisingly, our cat loves it. She would rather be in the cage than not! Definitely worth the money.

The Midwest Cat Playpen is a great solution for our multi-cat household. It is a roomy, comfortable, and secure enclosure that can easily be moved from room to room or outdoors. It took approximately 5 minutes for my sixteen year old son to assemble. I was very pleased with the design – double doors open on top and bottom, and the bottom tray slides out for easy cleaning. My senior cat loves the cozy cat bed that is included. Shop around, but I don’t think you will find a better value.

I have purchased 3 Midwest Playpens in the last 15 years for my cats to keep them out of trouble. The shelving with the hooks that are mentioned in the reviews were on the first playpen I purchased 15 years ago.
Shelves are now available with tabs that fit thru the cage wiring and are far more secure and easier to clip in also. All of my playpens are Midwest Brand.

This product is exactly what I wanted and more. This cage definitely requires at least two people to set it up (especially if you’re very short like me). All of the sides unfold from the bottom and may seem very dissapointing at first. At first glance the product looks to be very unsturdy. However, once the walls are together and the shelves are put in it isn’t going anywhere!
This crate has more than enough room for my kitten to stay in during the night. She loved the bed and slept on it the first night. However, I went out and purchased a hammock more metal cages and the bed has been ignored ever since! She loves the hammock! There is enough room on the bottom for a small litterbox and a food dish. I even put a food mat down and a scratching post on on the bottom. The shelves are very sturdy. The bottom floor can be easuly pulled out the clean. The only downside is that I have to vaccuum or clean the floor daily because litter is tracked all over the bottom of the cage.
Shipping was amazing. I opted for the free Super Saver Shipping and it said it would be between 5-9 business days. I said sure because I didn’t want to pay $30 for my package to be here just two days earlier! In the end it only took three days for the package to get to my home, the same as it would have been for the $30 shipping.
Overall I definitely would recommend this product to anyone else who does not feel comfortable letting the kitten or cat roam the house quite yet!

I have used Midwest Playpens for large Iguanas but mainly for cats and kittens, both my own and Feral Rescues. The last one I bought was used for a Feral that had been
hit by a car. He has had a long recovery, walking now and has socialized very well. We call him TBB. The playpen kept him separated from our other cats which he is now
joining. They are all rescues. I started working with the Ferals after our only cat
died at 26 years old.
I like the convenience of the four doors and ease of cleaning the playpen. I recommend this product.

This is a very nice play pen, especially for the money. We researched several options prior to purchasing, we are very pleased with this choice. It’s large enough for a cat to not feel confined. We just wish the three shelves were a little wider, they work, but if we were to design a play pen, we would have the shelves a little wider.
It’s easy to assemble, easy to move, easy to get reach in and clean, etc. We would purchase this item again.
