I never write reviews, but I was so impressed by this product I wanted to encourage more people to purchase it. I have put together dozens of pieces of furniture before, but this cat washroom was one of the best designed and highest quality pieces of furniture, in the do-it-yourself assembly category. The materials are well made, all the pieces fit perfectly, the door aligns great to close properly (usually a nightmare with self-assembly products). Not to mention that my cats adjusted in no time to it, having never used an enclosed litter box before. It has amazing head room for them, they can turn around completely inside, cover everything and leave no litter tracks outside. I have a 16 pound cat and he fits just fine. My cats appear to prefer this box since it’s provides privacy. Reduces odor by 90+% too. They knock litter around inside the cabinet, and it gets a little messsy, but it beats it being all over your floor. Excellent product. A cat lover must have invented this.

I put this in my bathroom and the cats love using it. We humans also like it. It’s nice not to have to look at the litter box each time we use the room. It really is a pretty good looking piece of furniture for a laundry room or bathroom.

How did I live without this?
I was hesitant to order this item because I have never had good luck with any of these ‘to be assembled’ furniture being shipped.
However when received, I was thrilled to find that absolutley no peice of the washroom was unprotected against cardboard. Rather every item was protected with Styrofoam.
The assembly was easy easy, and the final result was an expensive looking peice.
The only downside is that if you get embarassed easily, there is a gigantic photograph of the ‘Kitty Washroom’ and a cat walking out of it on the box itself. No plain brown packaging here.

We have an indoor kitten. We don’t want to live with ordinary litter box in our guest bathroom, as it is quite tiny. We went online and found this piece of furniture/cat washroom. At first we are not totally convinced that it will do the trick but willing to give a try since we have no other solution. It works great. Our cat loves it, used it right away after we move the litter box inside. Our friends come to visit and saw it, wanted to know where to buy it… we think this is a brilliant idea to hide the litter box. Plus, it matches our kitchen cabinet! What else to ask for….

I moved from a large house in the country to an apartment in the city – meaning closer quarters for my kitties, their litter box, and me. So I ordered this for my bathroom to make things prettier and tidier.
I’ve always used hooded litter boxes since the kitties love to throw litter across the floor by the way.
This was pretty easy to assemble, does a GREAT job keeping the thrown litter off the floor (probably twice as good as any hooded litter box I’ve used), and handles the traffic really well. One of my cats is 17lbs, and he fits just fine too. I also think it is so much better and cleaner looking than an exposed plastic litter box.
One thing about any hooded litter box: you MUST clean out the litter frequently. It is just like a port-a-potty in that there is very little air circulation, and you’re cats don’t want to be grossed out
I’d buy another one if I had the room!

After looking for a solution to a litter box out in the open and constantly cleaning up litter from the floor where the cats kicked it out, this is the ultimate looking and most functional thing I could find.
I wish it was bigger to hold a larger litter pan but I have a 20 pound cat who uses it just fine.
Easy assembly and great looking.

What a great litter box house! I’m very happy with this purchase. It was a little difficult to put together, took about 45min and some pre-drilled holes were not lining up correctly. But once put together, looks and feels expensive. Wish they made other colors! (Black or wood-colored, please). I use Cats Rule litter pans, and they fit perfectly inside, no more than 1/2 inch clearance on all sides.

THIS PRODUCT WAS THE ANSWER TO THE WHOLE “WHERE CAN WE PUT KITTY’S LITTER BOX?” PROBLEM. IT IS NOW IN THE DINING ROOM! KIT-KAT TOOK TO IT RIGHT AWAY AND IT IS ALSO A REALLY ATTRACTIVE PIECE OF FURNITURE. YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE LITTER BOX AGAIN. THE CAT LOVES IT AND SO DO WE !

I saw this in the Sky Mall catalogue while flying on business. Dust and stray litter is a huge problem with three cats. So I bought three of them (before Christmas, Amazon sold them a bit cheaper and with free shipping). I chose them over other options because these had solid walls and would fit better in a colonial style house (i.e. looks like furniture, not like cat box covers). Dust is now more manageable and the houses do a great job of making the litter boxes more appealing. Even my jumbo sized cat uses it.
One problem is that the box DOES NOT fit JUMBO litter boxes. So I had to buy three standard size litter pans as replacements. I recommend the trays with open lids that raise up on an angle on all four sides. Also, some spray gets on the walls so they occasionally need to be wiped inside. Assembly requires a bit of patience as the fit isn’t initially perfect on one side. DO NOT use a hammer to tap into place as the particle board will split. However, once assembled, they look gorgeous and make a huge difference in terms of aesthetics, dust and smell . I’d buy them again in a heartbeat.

I use mine for her littlerbox. I moved itno a new house and didnt want it out in the open. Works fine to hide it and she doesnt mind the little kitty door to get in. Would recomend caulking around the bottom to prevent kitty litter sifting onto the floor.
